Small mom and pop restaurant love it. My cousin and I dined in for a late lunch and omg was everything good. From the moment we walked in, we were pleasantly greeted from the moment we left. It was a pleasant lunch must check out. The prices were great. My boys loved the Thai ice tea. And normally it isn't my fave but this spot you can really taste the thai tea so good. We got a few items from edamame, vegetable tempura appetizers krab rangoon, dumplings to variety of sushi rolls including dynamite, California, jb tempura, crunchy spicy tuna and spicy jalapeno salmon lover roll. Then also the teriyaki with brown rice entree. Everything was amazing. For a party of 6 a little under 150 including drinks and all yhe dishes. Not bad at all. The place is secluded. Clean. Chefs were amazing. Thank you for a great experience. We will be back. My boys are dying to come back already!

I ordered the green curry, Thai tea, and finished with their fried ice cream—and everything was exceptional from start to finish. The green curry was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. It had just the right kick without overwhelming the fresh flavors of the veggies and tender beef. Paired with jasmine rice, every bite was comforting and full of depth. The Thai tea was the ideal complement—smooth, lightly sweet, and served ice-cold. It balanced the spice of the curry perfectly and added a refreshing touch to the meal. To top it all off, the fried ice cream was a fun and satisfying treat—crispy on the outside, cold and creamy on the inside. It was beautifully plated and the perfect ending to a flavorful meal. The ambiance was inviting, and the service was warm and attentive. Nadia welcoming us in and Nat being our server was very awesome. Whether you're craving bold Thai flavors or just looking for a relaxing night out, Yamu is a must-visit in Pompano Beach. I’ll definitely be coming back! Not to mention, the location near the beach was really nice, nearby a massive boat yard pass by the plaza to the bridge, you spot the Hillsboro Beach Light House.
Loved the food!!! The service was warm, cozy and super quick! The presentation was beautiful and had great flavor. Not one drop of soy sauce was needed. My family and I will definitely be going back.
I stumbled upon this place by chance and was pleasantly surprised. Despite its compact size, the atmosphere inside is warm and inviting. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The menu offers a great variety, and the service is quick. I would have loved the green tea to be loose-leaf rather than from a bag, but that’s just a wish for the future. Overall, a lovely spot worth visiting!
Love this restaurant. It is small but cute and cozy. Service is very good. We were seated immediately and the food came out quickly. Not only fresh sushi but they also have delicious Thai food. Everything tasted good and nice presentation. Highly recommend and definitely go back!!
First of all, I was surprised with the Thai iced tea. It was the best Thai iced tea I’ve ever had in the United States actually and I’ve been all over the United States. The shrimp dumplings was amazing and the chicken wings. He can’t get better highly recommend this place it’s a hidden gem and a place. I caught by accident. Lucky me.
Look, if I could give this place 7 stars, I would. Before I get to the food, the service was impeccable. Nat helped my limited mobile mother to her seat and made sure she was comfortable. He went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Now, the food.... To start we got the crab Rangoon, which I wish I had taken a picture of, and miso soup. The flavor of the rangoon just exploded with every bite under a light-yet-crispy wonton. The broth of the miso soup was rich and smooth. For the main course, my mother ordered a spider roll and I ordered the chicken pad Thai. You can taste the passion and authenticity in every bite of the pad Thai. Nat explained everything was homemade, which made sense as you cannot replicate this level of flavor and presentation from a box. The Thai iced tea was also delicious and a must-order. The price? More than reasonable. I will be coming back every visit to Florida.
Loved it, would definitely recommend and come back! From the moment you walked in you feel welcomed and catered too. Their Thai Tea was the perfect amount of sweet. Fried Shrimp dumplings were to die for honestly, we paired them with the calamari a sweet spicy mix to start off the meal. We had Red Shrimp Curry done to perfection, the flavor was phenomenal. Also, Combo fried rice, was nicely made and incorporated. Best part was it was amazing portions for two!
